More About Me
A few of my favorite things: juicy sunsets, chocolate donuts, afternoon naps, and comfy coffee shops. Let's grab a coffee and talk about your love story.

Alyssa and Taylor had a unique, untraditional, DIY wedding. I admired how they decided to forgo a traditional wedding and tailor their special day to something that felt more like “them.”
You may recognize Alyssa from her viral TikTok dying her wedding dress black. The TikTok has 3.4 million likes and over 35 million views. In addition to her TikTok fame, she also was featured in many articles, including The Insider. Click here to view the original dress dying on TikTok. Not only did Alyssa hand-dye her wedding dress, she also made all of her centerpieces, ceremony backdrop, and bouquets! I was amazed by her crafting abilities! In fact, after crafting all of her wedding pieces, she started her own crafting business! Learn more about Lyssa’s Wicked Creations here.
One of my favorite things from Alyssa & Taylor’s wedding was “the woman in blue.” Because Alyssa had so many friends to choose from, she wanted to include them all in a special way – even if they couldn’t all be bridesmaids. So, she asked her special friends to be “woman in blue” and wear a blue outfit as her “something blue.”
Of course, Taylor had to do something special for his friends as well, so he bought them all their favorite sports teams socks, which they wore on the wedding day.
Taylor & Alyssa have 3 golden retrievers who were also a special part of their day. Including your dog on your wedding day is a must in my mind! Not only are they a part of your family, they also bring down your stress level on your wedding day! There’s nothing a puppy snuggle can’t fix, right?
A main highlight from Taylor & Alyssa’s ceremony was their unity ceremony. Instead of tying a knot, pouring sand, or washing each other’s feet, Taylor & Alyssa shared their first tequila shot as husband and wife.
If there’s one thing you should take away from Taylor & Alyssa’s wedding day, it’s this: plan your wedding day around what you and your spouse want, not the opinions of others or the wedding “norms.” I bet if we were to ask Alyssa if she regrets any of her untraditional wedding day ideas, she would say “HECK NO!”
