Is it just me or are you noticing the spring baby boom?

I just finished my THIRD newborn session in one week. This is unheard of for me. Not only because I normally specialize in weddings and elopements, but because I live in a small town in Minnesota and rarely see three newborns in a month! Am I complaining? Heck no! Give me all those squishy snuggles.

Can I tell you my favorite part about newborn photos? Allowing mom and dad to just BE for a few hours. Sure, I might need mom for a quick feed, but talking to the parents and making them feel comfortable while I take care of baby is my favorite part of newborn sessions. I’ve had moms fall asleep on my studio bed, dads fall asleep on the couch, and older siblings playing with the few toys I have!
